When Chief physician (Shannon Solo) at Metro Hospital finds himself being investigated by a Federal Agent, he's forced to abandon his attempts to bring the dead back to life via an experimental serum. With the help of his evil assistant (Jasmin St. Claire), they dump the bodies in the nearby swamps and hope to bury their secrets.

Little do they know that the serum works and soon the dead are rising to the surface with one goal in mind! "To eat human flesh"! The zombies wreak havoc on everyone and anyone until a group of college students team up with a backwoods hermit (Brian "Blue Meanie" Heffron), a sunbather (Pamela Sutch) who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, a park ranger (Leon South) and a police chief (Dan "The Beast" Severn) to try to piece together what's going on, or die trying!
